Guitar lessons: Notes in the first position

Now we can apply this to the guitar and play the musical alphabet one note at a time starting from the 6th string (thickest) open E, then the 1st fret (using the 1st finger) to play an F and continue playing each note one at a time all the way up to the 3rd fret on the first string. Use the 1st finger for the 1st fret, 2nd finger for the 2nd fret, 3rd finger for the 3rd fret.
