Guitar lessons: Notes on the fifth string

Next lets play the notes on the fifth string of the guitar.
Step 1. Play the open fifth string A.
Step 2. Put your second finger (index finger) on the first fret.
Now play the first string. This is a B note. Make sure your finger is close to the fret and use the tip to depress the string.
Step 3. Put your third finger (ring finger) on the third fret.
Now play the first string. This is a C note. Make sure your finger is close to the fret and use the tip to depress the string.
